📦 Shipping & Delivery

Every order from Golden Leaf Books is packed with care (and maybe a little bit of magic ✨). We want your books to arrive safely, and in beautiful condition so they're ready to be devoured.

🕰️ Processing Time

Orders are carefully packed by hand at our shop in Waterford, NY. They are ready within 1-3 business days (Tuesday-Saturday, excluding holidays).

Once your order is on it's way you'll receive a shipping confirmation email. If the method you selected included tracking the number will be sent so you can follow the journey to your door.

💌 Shipping Rates

We try to keep shipping simple and fair, because we believe that books should be accessible:

  • Free Shipping on Orders Over $50
    Your order ships free via USPS Media Mail
  • $5 Flat Rate Shipping
    Orders under $50 ship for a flate rate of $5 via USPS Media Mail
  • Need it Faster?
    Expedited USPS shipping options are available at checkout, with real time pricing and deliver estimates based on your location.

🚚 How Your Books Travel

All orders ship via the United States Postal Service.

  • Media Mail (Free & $5 Shipping)
    A budget friendly option designed for books
    Estimated delivery: 2-10 business days after we drop your order off at the post office.
  • Expedited Shipping Options
    Faster delivery speeds are available and will be calculated during the checkout process.

Important!: Delivery times begin after we drop your order off at USPS.

🌧️ A Quick Note on Delays

Once your package is with USPS it's in their hands. While most deliveries arrive on time, occasionally delays can happen due to weather, high shipping volumes, or carrier issues.

These things are especially likely to impact orders during busy seasons, so make sure to get your holiday orders in early!

🏡 Shipping Address

Please double check your shipping details before placing your order. Once we ship your order we won't be able to have it rerouted. Due to security concerns we do not ship to any address but the one you submit during checkout. 

Incorrect addresses can lead to delays or lost packages.

📬 Lost or Damaged Orders

If your order arrives damaged, or seems to have vanished somewhere along its journey, reach out to us via the contact form with your order number.
