The Silent Time of Crows represents a twenty-five year foray through the cycles of seasons, love, loss and happiness. Meghan O’Brien has spent a lifetime quietly watching and privately writing about her world, and in this book she finally releases her works into the light for the first time. Though the poems and prose within are reflections of the author’s personal experience, they are laced with the humor, sorrow and pains of being human understood by every soul the world over.

Meghan O’Brien grew up along the banks of the Mohawk River in Cohoes, NY. She now lives on the other side of the Mohawk River in Halfmoon, NY, where she and her husband Bill enjoy spending time together. Along with relaxing with their menagerie of cats and dogs, Meghan also enjoys reading, gardening, spending time with horses, and making her best attempts at golf.
